Knip AG acquired financial expert of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG

Berlin, April 14th, 2016 – The Fintech company Knip reinforces its management team: Emily Kruse joined Knip AG as CFO in April 2016.

The 35-year-old financial expert Emily Kruse switched from the media to the insurance industry. Emily Kruse had been responsible for the development of the Ringier Axel Springer Media AG group accounting in Zurich since 2010. Most recently, she held the position as Group Director Finance. As such, she was responsible for Group Controlling, Treasury and Mergers & Acquisitions among others. Before, Emily Kruse gathered experience in international finance at Hugo Boss AG, Metzingen.

The Knip app already notes a constantly growing number of users and is leading the German and Swiss markets with over 400,000 downloads. The free app allows consumers to digitally manage and optimize their insurance policies. The insurance experts give advice via chat, e-mail or on the phone.
